How does it work?
Creating a club is simple:
- Start a new club and set your preferred delivery schedule (weekly, monthly, etc.)
- Invite members to join your club
- Members contribute content when they're inspired
- Everyone receives a beautiful email digest of all contributions on the scheduled date
What types of clubs can I create?
You can create any type of club you can imagine! Some popular options include:
- Friends and family updates to stay connected
- Book or media discussion groups
- Cooking and recipe sharing clubs
- Activity and outdoor adventure groups
The possibilities are endless—if you can email about it, you can create a club for it.
What if I don't have an idea for a club?
Don't worry if you're not sure what kind of club to create! We provide several inspiring examples during the setup process to help you get started. Alternatively, if you receive an invitation to join someone else's club, that's a perfect way to experience Letter Club and get familiar with how everything works before creating your own.
Is there a limit to how many members can join my club?
Currently, there is a limit of 7 members per club. This helps maintain an intimate community feeling while ensuring the newsletter doesn't become overwhelming. If you need more members for your club, please reach out to us and we'll be happy to help.
How does the club invitation process work?
When you create a club, you'll receive a special invitation URL that you can share with potential members. This is an opt-in process—recipients must click the link and accept the invitation to join your club. Once someone accepts your invitation, you'll receive a notification so you know they've joined. This ensures everyone in your club has actively chosen to participate.
How do I contribute to a letter?
Contributing is easy! Once you're a member of a club, you'll be able to access the current letter. Simply click on “Contribute now”, write your content, and submit it. Your contribution will be included in the next letter when the scheduled delivery date arrives.
What if I forget to contribute to a letter?
Don't worry if you miss contributing to a letter! You can always contribute to the next one when you have time and inspiration. We'll send you a friendly reminder a few days before each scheduled delivery if you haven't contributed yet, but there's never any pressure to participate in every letter.
What if I don't want to be a part of this club or service?
Leaving a club or canceling your account is simple and hassle-free. We provide clear links within the app to leave any club or delete your account entirely. You can come and go whenever you'd like—no questions asked and no complicated processes.
